Fifth District Supervisor Mary Adams is leaving from the board and is getting a heap of compliments for her service. The city council may decide to create more four-way stop sign intersections in town.
A well-loved surfer and firefighter is being mourned after he was killed while working on his pickup. The company that offered handcar tours along the historic rail line next to Highway 1 has filed suit claiming it was put out of business because its owners opposed creation of a new road for buses.
